Not much to say since my last post, still haven't found anywhere to put pictures up, but we found the main road and there were plenty of people around, I bought some books to read on the long bus or train ride to Amsterdam, and we enjoyed some happy hour last night.

We were at Jo's Bar, and they had .5L beers for 15 crowns, which is about 25 cents. After we each bought a round we went upstairs and had some food, which was awesome and only 4 or 5 bucks, too. We were going back to our room, and there was a gate blocking the entrance to the building!! So here's 4 drunk guys trying to get into an apartment building, and we somehow managed to go down a different street and get in another door with the third key we had but hadn't figured out the purpose of.

We just had some good lunch for 4 dollars and are gonna go sightseeing and probably get over to Amsterdam on the 28th, so pictures will def. be up then!

Last night we just chilled in our dorm at the hostel and went out to see what was up with this city. We found not much. From the time we got here we noticed there just weren't many people out walking around, and we must have been in the "non-happening" part of town. We were actually looking for a drug store for Andy, as he insisted on finding sutafed, but we were quite unsuccessful.

We finally made it to the main bridge where it was cool, but it was late to pay 100 crowns to check out the huge club, so we stopped at a pizza place and went back to go to sleep; we decided we'd go out tonight.

This morning we moved to an apartment, which rocks, and we have a balcony that Jeremy already decided was awesome to write songs on. We went to this cafe called the Radost FX Cafe, and got awesome, _huge_ meals for $5! Now we're looking on the internet for how we're getting to Amsterdam, so that's still up in the air.

Also, no new pics again today, b/c these computers just don't have the right connection. Maybe when we get to Amsterdam.

Yesterday we ate at this little out of the way place called "Osteria" - it was awesome. For 25.000 lira each, we got two courses, both of which rocked. We also got some wine and bread, the whole deal -- the waiter was even wearing a tunic! So we had an awesome dinner and then went to the train station to go to Prague.

Of course, the train was late, but we got on and had some really small beds to sleep in, and got to Vienna at 9 this morning. We got a "breakfast" of a small bread with jam or butter and coffee or tea, which is basically all we ate until dinner just now. We had an hour or so in Vienna and left on another train for Prague. That only took about 5 hours, and I didn't have anything to read, so I just did some crossword puzzles and listned to music and fell asleep for a while. Pretty boring.

As soon as we got off the train we were assaulted by all the different hostel/hotel hawkers, and one of them took us to a little hostel where we put our stuff down and went to change money and eat, and find an internet place. Dinner ended up being about $5 each, and now we're just gonna relax for a little from our trip.

Pictures will be up when I can find a computer to attach my camera to. Meanwhile, we'll be in Prague, leaving for Amsterdam in either 2 or more days, depending on the train fares vs. catching busabout, which is still a train trip away. It's hard to believe that we only have 11 days left on this trip!

Well, we changed our plans, and got train tickets to Prague last night. We actually needed our passports, so we couldn't get them last night, but we reserved them and went back today with _all_ our stuff and got everything straightened out. Now we're just killing time till we leave at 9.41 -- we even got a sleeper car :).

So yesterday we just went around Florence again, in the Palazzia Vecchio they have a copy of the David, and lots of other statues, too; this camera guy sells corn, so all the pidgeons are used to getting fed lots -- if you just go near them with anything in your hand they fly up and just get it. It was neat, but they were a little dirty. Anyway, we just went back to the campsite and had a little to eat and then hung out on our porch again and had some wine, etc. Kay and Annabel came over, a guy named Jason and his wife; they listened to my nomad and played guitar until it got too cold and everyone was tired.

Here's some more pictures, I'll write again from Prague (Praha). Ciao!

Well, we just wandered around Florence yesterday and saw the sunset and had some gelati. I'm just posting this again to get some more pics up, we're gonna wander around more today. I actually got a goot night's sleep cause it was just Jeremy and I in a room instead of 10 or 12 people.
